my hypothesis is that whenever i ask you what the definition of a particular word you put your head in your hands and sigh like a old oak in the wind.

The phrasing of those sentences is grammatically incorrect. What i meant (which would have already been implied to a person such as yourself) is that i use the word 'facetious' when i'm around you... which is quite often. Therefore you should know the definition of the word already and not have to ask it on a forum.
